Jennifer Siegler

Lecturer    Art. History    

Dr. Siegler has a doctorate from Emory University. She is a specialist in Latin-American art history, but her interests span the Americas and Africa, ancient and contemporary periods, and multiple media, including ceramics, sculptures, textiles, prints, and paintings. Her research explores themes of colonial art, hybridity, authenticity, and visual representations of heritage. At Georgia State, she will be teaching ART 1301 (Art, Society, and Culture), AH 1850 (our “non-Western” survey course), and upper-level courses in her areas of expertise.
