25 @ 25 Juried Student Exhibition Submission

The Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design Galleries at Georgia State University seeks works in all media for our 25th Annual Juried Student Exhibition, 25 @ 25. The 2023 edition of the JSE celebrates the show's 25th anniversary! Twenty-five works will be selected by artist Hannah Israel, whose sculptural installations are now on view in the Welch School Gallery. The JSE is the only annual show open to all students from the Welch School of Art & Design.

Established in 1970, our venue is the most dynamic visual arts space in downtown Atlanta. We present exhibitions featuring works by international artists as well as by Georgia State students, faculty and alumni artists.

Submission Instructions:
Please read all instructions carefully. If your entry is not formatted correctly, it may not be considered.

Eligibility is limited to current undergraduate and graduate students of the Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design. You may submit 1 entry for consideration. Image files should be jpegs or Quicktime (if your work is time-based media). Quicktime files should be clips of no longer than 30 seconds. Label your files in the format: LASTNAME_FIRSTNAME.jpg. Work requiring total darkness can't be accommodated. Pieces with audio elements require headphones.

Exhibition Timeline:
Submissions open - January 24 - February 6, 12pm.
Curator Review - February 7-9
Notification - February 13
Drop off - February 20
Installation - February 21-22
Reception- February 23, 5-7
