What is the CMC?
The Creative Media Center (CMC) offers open access to a state-of-the-art computer lab (Mac OS) as well as equipment checkout to help students create, edit and share a range of media projects.
How does it work?
Any student currently enrolled in the Welch School of Art & Design is eligible to use the facilities.
To qualify for equipment checkout, students must go to the CMC Checkout Portal located in iCollege and submit a completed Checkout Agreement Form along with Panther ID and class schedule. Once that document is received, students must watch a short tutorial video for the item(s) they wish to use. Each video contains a quiz that must be passed with a score of 100% to verify that all items will be used properly and safely.
If you do not see the CMC Checkout Portal under your iCollege courses, please email [email protected].
Equipment Checkout
Check out high-quality multimedia equipment including digital cameras, lighting kits, tripods, tablets, plus a variety of audio recording equipment. See the CMC Checkout Portal on iCollege for full inventory. All equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations are allowed.
