Just before the world enacted safety measures of social distancing, Soude Dadras brought its countries together in her most ambitious curatorial project yet. Artadia is a national non-profit organization that identifies innovative visual artists and supports them with unrestricted financial awards and connections to a network of opportunities. Since 1999, Artadia has awarded over $5 million in unrestricted funds to over 333 artists in 7 cities. For the 2019 year, Artadia selected artists Sonya Young James and Danielle Deadwyler.
MFA alumna and current instructor, Maryam Palizgir’s latest series “Epiphany” is currently on view at beautiful Somerset house, Photo London Art Fair 2019. This past December, first year textiles MFA, Soude Dadras, was sponsored by the Urmia Landart Company to curate an exhibition that would travel Istanbul, Turkey.
